The Parish Thanksgiving Mass - HM The Queen's Platinum Jubilee

On Thursday 2 June (Coronation Day) the Parish Thanksgiving Mass will be sung by the choir at 8pm, concluding with William Walton’s  ‘Crown Imperial’, a ceremonial march composed for the Queen’s late father King George VI’s coronation as King and Emperor in 1937. A reception will follow in church with the opportunity to cross the heath for the lighting of the Jubilee Beacon at 9.30pm, prompt.
